5 Injured in 3-Vehicle Crash on North Freeway in Fort Worth

Five Injured in Fort Worth Three-Vehicle Crash on North Freeway 

Fort Worth, Texas (August 12, 2021) – Five people were injured Thursday morning in a three-vehicle crash in Fort Worth, according to the police.

The crash happened around 11:45 a.m., in the northbound lanes of the North Freeway (I-35W).

Police said three vehicles were involved in the collision. 

One of the vehicles rolled over after the crash.

One person was trapped in one of the vehicles and had to be freed.

Five people were injured in the crash. One of them had serious injuries in the crash.

A man was taken to John Peter Smith Hospital, and a child was taken to Cook Children’s Medical Center.

The crash closed the northbound express lanes at Basswood.

The crash remains under investigation.
