Five Injured in SE Austin Two-Vehicle Crash at Lonesome Lane and FM 812 Road

Austin, Texas (April 21, 2022) – Five people were injured Thursday morning in a two-vehicle crash in southeast Austin, according to a local news source.

The crash happened around 6:47 a.m., at 10400-10415 Lonesome Lane and FM 812 Road, near FM973.

According to the report, two vehicles were involved in the crash.

One person had to be extricated from the wreckage.

One person was airlifted to Dell Seton Medical Center. Another person was taken by ambulance to South Austin Medical Center. Both victims had serious, potentially life-threatening injuries.

A third person was taken to Seton Hays in critical condition.

Two other people refused EMS transport.

No further information was available.

The crash remains under investigation.
