Five Children and One Adult Injured in Austin Two-Vehicle Crash on U.S. 183 near Leander

Austin, Texas (June 15, 2020) – According to officials, six people, including children, were injured Sunday night in a rollover crash in Austin.

The crash occurred just before 9:00 p.m. June 14, in the 4300 block of U.S. Highway 183, near Leander, just west of Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.

Officials said two vehicles collided on the highway, causing one of them to roll over.

Eleven people were involved in the crash. One adult and five children were taken to the Dell Children’s Medical Center with minor injuries.

No further details regarding the crash were available.

The crash remains under investigation.
