51-Year-Old Man Injured in Hardin County Two-Vehicle Crash at U.S. 96 and Walton Road; Bradley Herrington Arrested

Hardin County, Texas (June 6, 2022) – A Evadale man was injured, and a Lumberton man was arrested on Friday following a DWI crash in Hardin County, according to the Texas DPS.

The crash happened on June 3, at the intersection of U.S. 96 and Walton Road.

DPS said a pickup truck attempted to turn right onto Bellmont Drive from the left turn lane and turned in front of an SUV. The SUV then struck the pickup on its right side at the intersection.

The SUV driver, a 51-year-old man from Evadale, was taken to St. Elizabeth Hospital for treatment.

The pickup driver, Bradley Herrington, 37, of Lumberton, was arrested for allegedly driving while intoxicated. His passenger, a 38-year-old, was uninjured in the crash.

No other information was available.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
