52-Year-Old Man Killed in Car Crash on Wheatley Street in Houston

52-Year-Old Man Killed in Houston Two-Vehicle Crash on Wheatley Street

Houston, Texas (June 29, 2022) – According to the police, the 52-year-old man who was critically injured Monday evening in a two-vehicle crash in Houston has died.

The crash happened around 5:25 p.m., June 27, in the 9200 block of Wheatley Street.

Police said the man was driving a brown Lincoln Town Car northbound on the street when he failed to maintain a single lane after possibly experiencing a medical episode and struck a southbound GMC Sierra pickup truck.

The man was taken to Memorial Hermann Greater Heights Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on June 28. His name has not been released.

The GMC driver was uninjured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
