53-Year-Old Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on I-35 in Schertz

53-Year-Old Man Killed in Schertz Motorcycle Accident on Interstate 35

Schertz, Texas (March 24, 2023) – A 53-year-old man was killed early Thursday morning in a motorcycle accident in Schertz, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 2:00 a.m., March 23, on northbound Interstate 35.

Police said the man was riding a motorcycle and was believed to be speeding when he crashed into the back of a truck.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The crash closed the highway for several hours, and traffic was directed off the highway to the access road at Schertz Parkway. The highway has since been reopened.

The police are investigating the crash.
