54-Year-Old Man Killed in Houston Bicycle Accident on Easthaven Boulevard at Edgebrook Drive

Houston, Texas (February 11, 2021) – The 54-year-old man who was injured Sunday afternoon in a bicycle accident in Houston has died, according to police.

The accident happened around 2:45 p.m., February 7, on Easthaven Boulevard at the intersection of Edgebrook Drive.

Police said a gold Chrysler Town and Country minivan was traveling southbound on Easthaven Boulevard when it struck a 54-year-old man who was riding a bicycle.

The man was taken to HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake in critical condition where he died on January 8. His name has not been released.

The Chrysler driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators after the crash.

The police are investigating the crash.
