Man Dies in Red Bird Pedestrian Crash on I-20 at Polk Street
Dallas, Texas (January 20, 2019) – A man was struck and killed by a vehicle in Red Bird early Sunday morning, according to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department.
The crash was reported at about 12:45 a.m. on I-20 at the Polk Street exit ramp.
Deputies said a woman was driving in the eastbound lanes of I-20 when she struck a 55-year-old man.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver remained at the scene.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
