59-Year-Old Man Killed in Hit-and-Run on Calle Milpa Verde in Brownsville

59-Year-Old Man Killed in Brownsville Pedestrian Crash on Calle Milpa Verde

Brownsville, Texas (January 4, 2022) – A 59-year-old man was killed early Tuesday morning in a hit-and-run accident in Brownsville, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 1:30 a.m., in the 800 block of Calle Milpa Verde.

Police said the man was struck by a white pickup truck.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The pickup truck driver fled the scene after the accident.

No other information was available.

The police are investigating the crash.
