6 Injured in Houston Two-Car Crash on I-45 near Calvary Road

Houston, Texas (July 28, 2019) – Six people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Saturday morning in Houston, according to a local news source.

The crash took place around 11:00 a.m. July 27, on the Interstate 45 freeway near Calvary Road, just north of Willis.

As per the report, a family was headed to Huntsville State Park in a Toyota Tundra on the freeway when an 18-wheeler switched lanes in front them. In attempt to avoid a collision, the Toyota driver switched into the left lane and collided with an oncoming Nissan Titan.

The impact caused Toyota to spin and flip out of control while the Nissan crashed into the wall.

6 people sustained injuries in the crash.
