6-Year-Old Hit, Killed by ATV on Tyrrell Park in Beaumont 

6-Year-Old Injured in Beaumont ATV-Pedestrian Accident on Tyrrell Park

Beaumont, Texas (May 10, 2021) – A 6-year-old boy was hit and killed by an ATV Saturday night in Beaumont, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened just after 7:00 p.m., May 8, in the 5000 block of Tyrrell Park.

Police said a 36-year-old man was driving an ATV in the park when he struck the child.

The child was taken to a local hospital, where he later died. 

The ATV driver was arrested for outstanding warrants unrelated to the crash and was being held at the Jefferson County Jail. 

The crash remains under investigation.
