62-Year-Old Man Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Southwest Freeway

Houston, Texas (December 28, 2022) – A 62-year-old man was killed on December 16 in a pedestrian accident in Houston, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 10:50 p.m., December 16, in the 8900 block of Southwest Freeway (South U.S. Highway 59).

Police said a white Honda Civic and a silver Chevrolet Impala were traveling northbound at the entrance ramp when the man entered the on-ramp lane. The man was then struck by the Honda and then by the Impala.

Both drivers stopped and called 911.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

Both drivers were not impaired and were questioned and released.

The police are investigating the crash.
