63-Year-old Man injured in Hit-And-Run Crash on Southmore Boulevard near Sampson Street in Houston

Man Injured in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Southmore Boulevard near Sampson Street

Houston, Texas (January 27, 2019) – A man was injured when he was struck by a hit-and-run driver in Houston on Saturday evening, according to the police.
The incident happened at about 6:41 p.m. January 26 at 3126 Southmore Boulevard near Sampson Street.
Police said a driver crashed into a pole and slammed into a pedestrian before fleeing the scene.
The victim, a 63-year-old man, was transported to a hospital with major injuries.
The driver of the vehicle was later located and arrested on suspicion of DUI and Hit-and-run.
The crash is under investigation.
