67-Year-Old Man Killed in Beaumont Pedestrian Accident on Eastex Freeway near Lawrence Drive

Beaumont, Texas (March 28, 2022) – According to the authorities, a 67-year-old man was fatally hit by a vehicle Sunday morning in Beaumont.

The deadly accident happened just after 6:00 a.m., March 27, in the southbound lanes of Eastex Freeway near Lawrence Drive.

Authorities said the man was struck by a vehicle in the southbound lanes of the freeway.

The man was killed in the crash. His name has not been released.

No other information was available.

An investigation is underway.
