Seven Injured in Texas City School Bus Crash at Bay Street and 25th Avenue N

Texas City, Texas (April 27, 2021) – Seven people were injured in a school bus crash Monday afternoon in Texas City, according to officials.

The crash happened around 4:30 p.m., April 26, at the intersection of Bay Street extension and 25th Avenue N.

Officials said two school buses, bus 135 and bus 114, were doing afternoon drop-off runs with Levi Fry Intermediate School students when one of them rear-ended the other at the stop sign.

A total of seven students were injured in the crash. Two of them were taken to the hospital as a precaution, while the others were released to their parents.

The crash remains under investigation.
