73-Year-Old Man Killed in Car Crash on Memorial Drive in Houston

73-Year-Old Man Killed in Houston Two-Vehicle Crash on Memorial Drive at Bateswood Drive

Houston, Texas (January 7, 2023) – The 73-year-old man who was critically injured on December 12 in a two-vehicle crash in Houston has died, according to the police.

The man was pronounced dead on December 30.

The accident happened around 2:45 p.m., in the 14100 block of Memorial Drive at Bateswood Drive.

Police said the man was driving a black Ford Edge westbound at the intersection when he ran a red light and crashed into a southbound grey Honda CR-V.

The man was taken to a local hospital, where he later died. His name has not been released.

The Honda driver, a 43-year-old woman, and her passenger were not seriously injured in the crash.

The police are investigating the crash.
