75-Year-Old Man Killed in Conroe Pedestrian Accident on Metcalf Street

Conroe, Texas (January 6, 2023) – A 75-year-old man was killed Wednesday night in a pedestrian accident in Conroe, according to officials.

The deadly accident happened around 8:30 p.m., January 4, in the 200 block of Metcalf Street.

Officials said the man was crossing the street heading northbound when he was struck by an eastbound vehicle.

The man was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, where he later died. His name has not been released.

The driver was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated.

The police are investigating the crash.
