8-Year-Old Girl Critically Injured in Fort Bend County Hit-and-Run Crash at Bissonnet and Hodges Bend

Fort Bend County, Texas (June 21, 2019) – An 8-year-old girl was critically injured on Thursday in a hit-and-run accident at a Fort Bend County intersection, according to the deputies.

The accident happened on Thursday, June 20, in the area of Bissonnet and Hodges Bend.

Deputies said a driver ran a stop sign at the intersection and hit the girl.

The driver fled the scene after the accident.

The girl was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The deputies are looking for an older dark gray Nissan Altima with damage to its windshield.

An investigation is ongoing.
