9-Year-Old Boy Injured in Odessa Pedestrian Accident on East 36th Street; Jarrett Gray Arrested
Odessa, Texas (December 23, 2019) – A 9-year-old boy was seriously injured in a pedestrian accident on Saturday in Odessa, according to a local news source.
The accident happened on Saturday, December 21, in the 1300 block of East 36th Street.
As per the report, Jarrett Gray, 23, was driving a Chevrolet Camaro at a high rate of speed when he veered into the wrong side of the road and struck a parked car. The impact pushed the parked car, and it hit the boy.
The boy was airlifted to a Lubbock hospital with serious injuries.
Gray was arrested for reckless driving and is being held at the Ector County Jail.
The police are investigating the crash.
