92-Year-Old Woman Killed in Houston Two-vehicle Crash on Yale Street at 15th Street

Houston, Texas (November 16, 2022) – A 92-year-old woman was killed Monday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Houston, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 1:05 p.m., November 14, at the intersection of the 1500 block of Yale Street and West 15th Street.

Police said a white Dodge was traveling northbound on Yale and was approaching the intersection while a Honda CRV was traveling eastbound on West 15th Street.

The Honda ran the stop sign at the intersection and was struck in the rear by the Dodge van. The Honda continued traveling until it struck a pole and came to a stop, while the Dodge spun and struck the Honda for a second time.

Both drivers were taken to the hospital, where the Honda driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.

The Dodge driver was treated for minor injuries.

It is believed the Honda driver possibly suffered a medical issue prior to the crash.

The police are investigating the crash.
