2 Injured in 2-Vehicle Crash at Sherwood Way and FM 2288 in San Angelo
Two Hurt in San Angelo Car Crash on Sherwood Way and FM 2288
San Angelo, Texas (January 22, 2019) – A two-vehicle collision at an intersection in San Angelo left two people hospitalized on Monday afternoon, police said.
The crash occurred at Sherwood Way and FM 2288 at about 12 p.m. January 21.
Police said a 2015 Dodge Ram was heading west on Sherwood Way when it turned right onto FM 2288. The driver then stopped for traffic turning into Chick-Fil-A and a vehicle traveling behind it honked its horn, causing the Dodge driver to swerve and ended up colliding with a 2014 Lincoln four-door sedan.
Two passengers in the Lincoln, including an 11-year-old child, were transported to a hospital for treatment.
The driver of the Dodge was cited for driving with an invalid license and making an unsafe lane change.
