Pedestrian Killed in South Wayside Hit-and-Run in South Houston

Houston, Texas (August 22, 2017) – A pedestrian was hit and killed on Monday afternoon by an unknown vehicle in South Houston, according to a police report.
The accident happened around 3 p.m. on Monday, August 21, at the South Wayside and Gulf Freeway, according to the report.
A driver passing by the scene noticed a body at the side of the road and contacted the police.
The police arrived at the scene and blocked off the roadway to conduct investigations.
The identity of the victim has not been revealed.
An Investigation into the crash is underway.
