Ricardo Rodriguez Killed in Jim Wells County Pedestrian Accident on US 281

Jim Wells County, Texas (February 6, 2019) – A man was struck and killed by a vehicle in Jim Wells County on Tuesday night, according to the DPS.
The crash occurred shortly after 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 5 on US 281 south of Premont.
DPS said Ricardo Rodriguez, 33, of Falfurrias was trying to cross the southbound lane of the highway when he was struck by a southbound 2011 Chevrolet Cruze operated by an unidentified male driver.
Rodriguez died at the scene of the accident.
The DPS is investigating the crash.
