Brandon Earley and Kolby Fletcher ID’d as Two Teens Killed in Bogata Crash on Highway 37
Bogata, Texas (February 17, 2019) – Authorities have identified the two Rivercrest ISD teens who were killed Friday afternoon in a traffic accident in Bogata as Brandon Luke Earley, 17, of Reno, and Kolby Fletcher, 18, of Clarksville.
The deadly accident happened at around 3:30 p.m. Friday, February 15 on Highway 37.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Earley and Fletcher were both heading northbound on Highway 37 when Earley attempted to make a U-turn and his pickup collided with Fletcher’s pickup.
Earley and Fletcher, who were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident, were killed in the collision.
As per the report, Rivercrest ISD will be closed Tuesday for the funerals. Earley’s will be at 10 a.m. at Love Civic Center and Fletcher’s will be at 2 p.m. at Clarksville Funeral Home.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
