Man Hospitalized after Austin Bicycle Accident at Lavaca Street and West Sixth Street
Austin, Texas (February 18, 2019) – A man in his 20s was seriously injured early Sunday morning in a bicycle accident in downtown Austin, according to a local news release.
The accident was reported just after 2:20 a.m. February 17, at the corner of Lavaca and West Sixth streets.
The responding paramedics found an unconscious bicyclist who had been struck by a vehicle.
The man was taken to Dell Seton Medical Center with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
An investigation is underway.
