Rhonda Finch Hospitalized after Lufkin Car Crash on South First Street
Lufkin, Texas (June 12, 2019) – A woman was injured Tuesday morning in a rear-end crash in Lufkin, according to a local news release.
The crash occurred around 5:59 a.m. June 11, in the 1500 block of South First Street.
Police said a 1998 Mercury driven by Rhonda Finch, 48, of Lufkin, was parked in the outside northbound lane with its emergency flashers on when it was rear-ended by a 2012 Ford pickup driven by Brady Kelly, 27, of Lufkin.
Finch was airlifted to a Tyler hospital with major leg injuries.
Kelly was uninjured in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
