Adolfo Soto-Perez Killed in Semi-Truck Accident on FM 829 in Martin County

Adolfo Soto-Perez ID’d as Man Killed in Martin County Crash on FM 829 near Stanton

Martin County, Texas (August 8, 2019) – Adolfo Soto-Perez, 55, of Fort Hancock, has been identified as the man who was killed Tuesday afternoon in a traffic accident in Martin County.

The deadly wreck took place at about 2:17 p.m. Tuesday, August on FM 829, about 10 miles northwest of Stanton.

Authorities said a semi-truck was traveling on the roadway when its driver failed to yield the right of way at the intersection of FM 829 and CR 3100 and collided with another semi-truck.

Adolfo Soto-Perez was pronounced dead at the scene.

Gerardo Cano-Flores, who was the driver of the first semi-truck, was transported to Midland Memorial Hospital with non-incapacitating injuries.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
