Woman Killed in West Houston Two-Vehicle Crash on Westheimer Road; Adokoe Akue Arrested

Houston, Texas (November 4, 2019) – A 21-year-old woman was killed Saturday morning in a two-vehicle crash in West Houston, according to officials.

The fatal crash took place around 9:15 a.m., November 2, on Westheimer Road near South Dairy Ashford.

Officials said a 29-year-old Adokoe Akue ran a red light and crashed into the woman’s car.

The woman was declared dead at the scene. Her passenger was taken to the hospital with a fractured arm and serious internal injuries.

Akue was also taken to the hospital with minor injuries. He faces charges of manslaughter and reckless, aggravated assault.

An investigation is underway.
