Man Seriously Injured in Sharpstown Pedestrian Accident on South Gessner Road near Sands Point Drive

Sharpstown, Texas (November 13, 2019) – A man was seriously injured in a pedestrian accident Tuesday night in Houston’s Sharpstown area, a local news source reported.

The accident happened on Tuesday, November 12, on South Gessner Road near Sands Point Drive.

Police said the man was crossing the road when he was hit by a vehicle. He was not in a crosswalk at the time of the accident.

The man was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The involved driver remained at the scene after the accident.

Investigators said impairment was not a factor in the crash.

An investigation is underway.
