Deputy Injured in Harris County Multi-Vehicle Crash on FM 1960 at Veterans Memorial
Harris County, Texas (January 3, 2020) – A Harris County Sheriff’s Deputy was injured in a suspected DUI crash early Friday morning at an intersection in Harris County, according to a local news source.
The crash happened at about 2:45 a.m. at the intersection of FM 1960 and Veterans Memorial.
As per the report, a Mercedes sedan driven by a suspected drunk driver rear-ended the deputy’s vehicle, which was stopped at a red light.
The impact pushed the patrol car into the intersection where it was hit by a Ford Taurus.
The deputy was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
