One Killed in Houston Bicycle Accident Involving HPD Cruiser on N Wayside Drive

Houston, Texas (October 9, 2019) – A bicyclist was hit and killed by a Houston police cruiser Tuesday night in Houston, according to the Houston police.

The accident occurred on Tuesday, October 8, in the 6900 block of N Wayside Drive.

Police said the officer was responding to a suicide call when he struck the bicyclist who was crossing N Wayside Drive.

The bicyclist was killed in the crash. The victim’s identity has not been disclosed.

An investigation is ongoing.
