Two Killed and Two Injured in Sunnyvale Two-Vehicle Crash on U.S. 80 near Lawson Road

Sunnyvale, Texas (June 26, 2020) – Two people were killed, and two others were injured early Friday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Sunnyvale, according to deputies.

The fatal crash happened shortly after 2:30 a.m. on the eastbound U.S. 80 service road near Lawson Road.

Deputies said the crash involved two vehicles.

The impact caused one of the vehicles to overturn.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene.

A second victim was taken to a local hospital where they later died.

Two other people were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
