Woman Injured in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Loop 610 North near Airline Drive
Houston, Texas (July 15, 2018) – A woman was struck and injured by a car Saturday morning in north Houston, according to police.
The crash happened at about 2:00 a.m. Saturday, July 14 on the Loop 610 North service road near Airline Drive.
Police said a man was driving a black truck when he allegedly ran a red light and crashed into another vehicle on the Loop 610 North service road. His passenger fell out the vehicle as it hit a nearby light pole. The woman was hit when the car went into reverse.
The woman sustained multiple broken bones.
No one else was injured in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
