One Injured in Southwest Houston Two-Vehicle Crash on Southwest Freeway Frontage Road near Bellaire Boulevard
Southwest Houston, Texas (July 25, 2018) – A person was injured Tuesday night in a traffic accident in Southwest Houston, according to the authorities.
The crash occurred July 24, on Southwest Freeway Frontage Road near Bellaire Boulevard.
Houston police said a Concord EMS ambulance was heading northbound on the roadway when it was struck on its side by a westbound pickup truck. The force of the impact caused the ambulance to flip on its driver’s side.
The police said the ambulance had its lights and sirens on during the collision.
The driver of the ambulance was taken to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
