1 Dead, 1 Hurt in Mabank Motorcycle Accident on U.S. Highway 175 near Lakeside Drive and Lighthouse Lane
Mabank, Texas (July 27, 2018) – A motorcyclist was killed and another person injured in a motorcycle crash with a car Thursday afternoon in the western city limits of Mabank.
The fatal accident was reported at about 3:30 p.m. July 26, on U.S. Highway 175, near the intersection of Lakeside Drive and Lighthouse Lane.
According to the Mabank Police Department, the crash involved a car and a motorcycle.
Officials said the motorcyclist died at the scene. A person in the car was also injured in the accident.
Further details regarding the crash were not available.
The eastbound U.S. Highway 175 was blocked after the accident. Traffic was diverted to the westbound U.S. Highway 175.
The Mabank Police Department is conducting the investigation.
