Rider Killed in DeSoto Motorcycle Accident at I-35E and Parkerville Road
DeSoto, Texas (September 1, 2018) – A motorcyclist was struck and killed by a vehicle early Friday morning in DeSoto, according to a local news source.
The deadly crash occurred at about 1:00 a.m. Friday, August 31 of the intersection of I-35E and Parkerville Road.
Authorities said a group of motorcycle riders was traveling on the southbound lanes of the interstate when for the unknown reason one of them felled into the road. That person then started walking his bike off the road and an SUV hit him.
The motorcyclist died at the scene. The driver of the SUV stopped at the scene and complied with police.
The crash remains under investigation by the police.
