Cynthia Boone and Miraj Parson Killed in Austin Two-Vehicle Crash on East Oltorf Street

Austin, Texas – Two people were killed Saturday night in a two-vehicle crash in Austin, according to the Austin Police Department.
The deadly accident happened around 9:18 p.m., May 25, in the 500 block of East Oltorf Street.
Police said a tractor-trailer was turning left out of a shopping center when it was struck by a sedan.
The sedan driver, 42-year-old Cynthia Boone, and one of the passengers, 19-year-old Miraj Parson, both of Austin, were taken to the hospital where they later died.
Two other passengers in the sedan were taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the tractor-trailer remained at the scene, was not impaired, was uninjured, and cooperated with the investigators.
The police are investigating the crash.
