Michael Reed-Harper ID’d as 40-Year-Old Killed in North Austin Pedestrian Accident on Dessau Road near Parmer Lane
North Austin, Texas (September 6, 2018) – The man who was killed Sunday morning in a hit-and-run accident in North Austin as Michael Anthony Reed-Harper, 40, according to police.
The deadly accident was reported to Austin police at around 4:21 a.m. Sunday, September 2 in the 12200 block of Dessau Road near Parmer Lane.
Police arrived at the scene and found Reed-Harper lying on the road.
Police said Reed-Harper was dead and had trauma consistent with being struck by a car.
Authorities said the driver of the vehicle involved fled the scene.
