Crane County, TX – A Midland man was killed after two vehicles collided in Crane County early Saturday, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS).

The deadly crash happened at about 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 22 in the area of U.S. 385 and Tarpley Road.

According to DPS, a preliminary investigation revealed a 41-year-old Odessa man, who was operating a tractor-trailer, failed to yield the right of way to a Chrysler Town and Country, at the intersection, and the two vehicles collided.

The driver of the  Chrysler sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was hurt in the incident.

The collision remains under investigation.
