David Gobellan ID’d as Bicyclist Killed in Mercedes Accident on Mile 2 Road
Mercedes, Texas (September 13, 2018) – The bicyclist who was struck and killed by a vehicle last week Thursday in Mercedes has been identified as David Gobellan, 19, according to a local news source.
The fatal accident happened at about 8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 6 along Mile 2 Road.
According to reports, Gobellan was riding a bicycle along the road when for an unknown reason he was hit by a vehicle.
The force of the impact threw Gobellan into the road.
Gobellan died at the scene. Details regarding the driver involved in the accident were not immediately provided.
The crash remains under investigation.
