Two Men Killed in Fort Bend County Two-Vehicle Crash at Highway 90 Alternate and Spencer Road
Beasley, Texas (September 22, 2018) – Two men were killed Thursday afternoon in a head-on collision involving a big rig in Fort Bend County, according to a local news source.
The crash happened just after 5:15 p.m. September 20, at the intersection of Highway 90 Alternate and Spencer Road.
According to the authorities, a van veered into the oncoming lane and collided head-on with the big rig.
Two people in the van were killed in the crash. Their identities were not immediately disclosed.
The driver of the big rig was transported to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
The intersection was closed for several hours as the authorities worked on the scene. It was reopened just after 7:30 a.m. Friday.
An investigation is ongoing.
