Kevin Garcia ID’d as Man Killed Midland Two-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 158
Midland, Texas (September 22, 2018) – The driver who was killed Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Midland has been identified as Kevin Garcia, 22, according to a local news release.
The crash occurred September 18, on State Highway 158.
DPS said Garcia was driving a Ford F-150 westbound on the highway while Dean Rogers was driving a truck tractor eastbound. Garcia failed to drive in a single lane and drifted into Rogers’ lane, resulting in a collision.
Garcia was declared dead at the scene. Rogers suffered non-incapacitating injuries and was taken to Midland Memorial Hospital.
The DPS is investigating the crash.
