10-Year-Old Boy Killed and 3 Injured in Del Valle Car Crash on Texas 130 near Austin-Bergstrom International Airport
Southeast Austin, Texas (September 22, 2018) – A 10-year-old boy was killed and three other people were injured Saturday morning in a multi-vehicle collision in Del Valle, authorities said.
The tragic accident was reported at around 10:33 a.m. in the 11300 block of Texas 130 North, on the southbound service road near Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.
Details of how the accident occurred were not immediately available.
The boy was pronounced dead at the scene while three other people were evaluated and refused transport to the hospital.
Motorists were urged to avoid the area.
The crash remains under investigation.
