Four Injured in Burnet County School Bus Accident on Highway 29 near Burnet Hills Drive
Burnet County, Texas (October 4, 2018) – Four people were injured in a traffic collision in Burnet County Monday morning, according to a local news source.
The crash happened at about 7:00 a.m. Monday, October 1 on Highway 29 near Burnet Hills Drive.
According to police, a Burnet CISD bus was stopped on the westbound lane to turn left when a Ford F-250 truck rear-ends it.
The force of the impact caused the bus to overturn.
Police said a bus monitor and three students on board sustained minor injuries and were all taken to a hospital. The bus monitor had an injured shoulder.
The driver of the bus and other driver were not injured.
The crash remains under investigation.
