Three Killed in Interstate 45 Wrong-Way Crash at Hardy Toll Road

Houston, Texas, (April 6, 2017) – Three people, including a couple leaving a birthday celebration, were killed early Sunday morning after colliding with a wrong-way driver, according to a report.
The deadly incident took place in the early morning hours of Sunday, April 2 on the southbound I-45 at the Hardy Toll Road.
According to the report, a couple, identified as Jackie and Patrick Delane had just left IHOP where they had been celebrating Patrick’s 50th birthday and were in a white Mercedes.
Reportedly, a Dodge Charger, driven by 32-year-old Adam Bonilla, was traveling north in the southbound lanes when it crashed into the Mercedes. All the three involved parties died at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
