Temple, TX – Four people were injured when a car chase ended in a two-vehicle traffic collision in Temple Monday night, according to Temple PD.

According to the police, at around 8:15 p.m. on September 30, someone was assaulted in the 9300 block of South Highway 317 and one of the people involved chased the other down North Highway 317.

Police say at some point, one of the vehicles t-boned another vehicle in the 7500 block of North Highway 317.

Authorities said four people were seriously injured in the collision, with one of the patients sustaining life-threatening injuries.

According to Temble PD, the roadway remained closed throughout Tuesday morning as investigators worked at the scene.

The incident remains under investigation.
