Austin, TX – The Austin Police Department has identified the pedestrian killed in a deadly accident involving two vehicles that happened on Wednesday last week in east Austin.
The victim, identified as 28-year-old Kameron Hartman, was hit by two vehicles in the 4600 block of East Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard at about 9:32 p.m. on September 25.

According to APD, Hartman was crossing midblock when he was hit by a white SUV followed by another vehicle. Hartman was pronounced deceased on the scene.
Police said the driver of the white SUV remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. The driver of the second vehicle fled the scene of the collision.
No additional details regarding the incident were provided.
The pedestrian accident remains under investigation.
