The deadly accident happened near Marine Creek Lake early Sunday morning, according to Fort Worth Police.

Fort Worth, TX – A family of four – a father, mother, and two children – and a woman who was engaged to be married were killed early Sunday in a wrong-way traffic collision in Fort Worth.
According to Fort Worth Police, a Ford Focus carrying the family was traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes of Loop 820 when it collided head-on with a pickup truck.
The Ford caught fire killing all the family members inside the vehicle.
A woman in the pickup truck, who police say was engaged to be married, also died in the accident. Her fiance sustained broken bones and was transported to the hospital. Man is expected to survive.

Fort Worth, TX – Five people are deadly following an early morning wrong-way collision on Northwest Loop 820 in Fort Worth.
The deadly accident happened at about 3:30 a.m. near Marine Creek Lake, according to Fort Worth Police.
Police said a vehicle was traveling in the wrong direction on Northwest Loop 820 and struck another car.
Police said the wreckage caught fire after the incident. At least one person was trapped following the collision.
According to the police, five people died in the collision. The names of the victims were not immediately released. One other person was transported to an area hospital.
The accident remains under investigation.
