Fort Worth, TX – A woman who was killed in a wrong-way traffic collision that claimed the lives of four other people – a father, mother, and two children – in Fort Worth early Sunday morning, has been identified as 33-year-old Chelsea Cook.

Cook, who was recently engaged, was with her fiance Evan Ranallo when the deadly collision happened at about 3:30 a.m. on October 27.

Ranallo was driving a pickup truck westbound on Loop 820 when the trick collided head-on with a Ford Focus traveling the wrong way.

Cook was killed in the collision.

All four family members in the Ford were also killed in the wreck.

Ranallo was injured and hospitalized.

Fort Worth, TX – A family of four – a father, mother, and two children – and a woman who was engaged to be married were killed early Sunday in a wrong-way traffic collision in Fort Worth.

The deadly accident happened at about 3:30 a.m. near Marine Creek Lake, according to Fort Worth Police.

According to Fort Worth Police, a Ford Focus carrying the family was traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes of Loop 820 when it collided head-on with a pickup truck.

The Ford caught fire killing all the family members inside the vehicle.

A woman in the pickup truck, who police say was engaged to be married, also died in the accident. Her fiance sustained broken bones and was transported to the hospital. Man is expected to survive.


The accident remains under investigation.
