Houston, TX.– One person was killed in a collision involving two vehicles in Houston on Monday evening, according to the Houston Police Department.
The accident took place in the 3300 block of Holcombe Boulevard at around 6:30 p.m. on November 4.
Police said a 58-year-old man was driving a black Cadillac SRX eastbound on Holcombe Boulevard when he left the roadway, drifted across the median, hit a light pole, and slammed into a westbound silver Chevrolet HHR.
The Cadillac continued traveling southbound and struck fences and a light pole, before coming to a stop.
Medics from the Houston Fire Department responded to the scene and pronounced the driver of the Cadillac deceased at the scene.
The other driver was not injured.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
